November 2002:

At the order of The Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of the Republic of Bulgaria, "Bulgaria Air" was declared a National Airline with regards to the destination lines: France, The Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Arabia, Hungary, The Check Republic, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Italy, Russia and Israel.

"Bulgaria Air" Aircraft Company was included in the international reservation systems Amadeus and Galileo.

04.12.2002: The first flight of "Bulgaria Air" was carried out in the direction Sofia - London - Paris with 60 passengers on board.

The Aircrafts:

"Bulgaria Air" owns aircrafts: BOEING 737-300, 500 AIRBUSS 319 and 320.

LZB is the three-letter code with which "Bulgaria Air" is registered in ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
FB is the two-letter code with which "Bulgaria Air" is registered in IATA (International Air Transport Association)

Commercial and operative representation of Bulgaria Air is provided of the Spanish air company DUAIR-GSSA.

Established in August, 1995 in Madrid its basic directions are:

• integral representations of air companies for passengers and cargo.
• direct hiring of planes for transport of passengers and cargo.
• navigation, commercial aircraft maintenance and insurance of cargo and passengers flights in regular air-route and charter-flight programs.

In order to provide exceptional service to Bulgaria Air passengers and regular flights, Duair GSSA has opened a Customer Care Center for information and booking from Spain and Portugal to Bulgaria. It also has representatives at the airports of Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca.
